things i learned in the last week

1) don't wake your father up at 7:30 in the morning on fathers day to wash your car and make him help you. in fact, don't wake him up unless you're giving him breakfast in bed.

2) don't put a new sticker on your car when its 100 degrees outside. the sticker will melt the second it touches your window then its impossible to keep it on straight

3) don't tell your mother you have a medical emergency at 2am when it might turn out to be nothing. she might have a heart-attack. (which once again reminds me why i moved out when i was so young)

4) don't put your faith in other people when you only need to depend on yourself. you'll just end up hurting yourself.

5) don't trust an ex to pay you back when you most need it. the minute they leave, they fall off the earth. (unfortunately, i didn't mean that literally)

6) don't tell your friends that you're going backstage at pantera on your birthday (when you're not even into metal like that) because they will all try to convince you that they are the person you should take... unsuccessfully, i might add.

7) don't tell your best friend of the opposite sex that you used to be attracted to him. things will never be the same.

8) don't make a date with the rebound boy for some saki bombers and sushi when you know deep down that he was never a rebound and you might get re-attached.

9) never close your eyes at night without having said "i love you" to at least one person.
