back with a vengeance

I know so many of you were looking forward to a good update but I'm tired and cranky and have had a long vacation away from the computer (apologies to those i didn't write).

I had an eventful christmas, putting the "f-u-n" back in "disfunctional". After arguements about everything from who forgot to preheat the oven to who knocked over the christmas tree, i went home exhausted.

Since the 28th, I've been spending my time with Dave. We had a good time (or I'd like to think we did) and he was my official kiss of the new year.

I started my new job at the start of the new year and so far, its been hectic and exciting and I'm just starting to get into a new groove.. I'll keep you posted.

I've gotten to that horrible stage in the new year when I reassess my entire life and try to establish some meaning to the way I live and the decisions I've made. I never come to some deep conclusion but rather, I do stupid things to fill gaping holes in my time before the next big build-up proves to be a let-down.... and then I move on.

Depressing? yes. Will I change it? probably not.

So, again, i request words of wisdom here in the guestbook on how to pick up your entire life and change it (without losing the part of your identity that you'd actually like to keep)
